While there are some natural crystals called Opalite, they are very, very rare. 99.9 % of everything labeled Opalite is in fact an iridescent man-made glass resin which is made up of Dolomite and metal to create an opalescent appearance. That said, Opalite is a beautifully iridescent stone. I’ve had customers tell me it has an Angelic feel and has been used during meditation. This Opalite catches the light and produces a rainbow-like effect. Like Cherry Quartz, which is also a made stone (crushed Quartz plus minerals), Opalite is one of my favorite stones.
