The heavenly smell of Palo Santo wood is unmistakable. These hand carved Angels are sweet, woodsy and spiritual. This primitive style Angel hand craft is approximately 2.0 inches tall and 1.7 inches wide. Sustainably harvested and carved by artisans in Peru. My pictures are of Angels that I have had in stock, not all of what’s now available. I will pick one for you. Sorry I can't offer specific picks on these. They all smell heavenly and vary with some lighter and darker spots just as wood varies. These Angels would be great in any room, on an altar, or used in meditation. I find them to be spiritually uplifting , and have one on my own personal altar. Give to anyone who needs a little extra looking after. Palo santo (Bursera graveolens) is a tree that’s native to Peru, Ecuador, and other South American countries. It grows in dry tropical forests and produces a very fragrant resin. In Spanish, palo santo means “holy wood.” Folklore: For thousands of years, the wood, resin, and oil have been used for medicinal purposes. It’s mainly used to treat pain and stress. It’s also said to clear negative energy. This sweet Angel is a gift of love and protection.
